I would like to ask for a community's opinion for the "Agile Project Manager" role. Is Agile Project Manager role more about PM's skills or SCRUM Master's skills? Feel free to precise conditions.

My opinion is that depends on how the company wants the project to be implemented. Agile is a methodology with guidelines and it’s up to the company how and how much from Agile is implemented in the project. For example, if the methodology is Waterfall implemented with some Agile techniques I would say that the role is more about PM’s skills. If the main or the only methodology implemented in the project is Agile, then the role is about the Scrum Master skills

Hi Konstantin,  at the end of the day both agile and Waterfall are projects which need to be delivered in a given time and budget. To that extent PM skills would be important, but a good scrum master can effectively break the overall delivery in to smaller sprints and manage Product owners expectations well and keep track of changing requirements. Hi, i agree that both the classic or waterfall as the agile/ Scrum project principles are helpful and needed. Basically it is critical how the culture in the company is: if it is lean, open, dynamic etc. it is more the agile, if it is more industrial, hierarchical, etc. It is more classical which gives you a hint about the focus and requirements to the Position. In Short: ask the Client or ... about the way of Working as attitude. Hope this helps…. Overall as PM you should Know both worlds since I See still a Lot of hybrid approaches.
