Description
We are looking for a senior experienced technical expert to lead the TDD stream of a combined CDD/TDD exercise for a UK regional infrastructure builder.
Technical due diligence
1. Network assessment (looking at suppliers, redundancy, age, monitoring, etc.) – particular focus on how the network is planned to be constructed in the newbuild areas
- Planning tools
- Physical construction methods
- Construction partners and availability of labour
2. Quality and capacity assessment
- Availability / failure rates
- Extensibility
- Capacity / utilisation
3. Operational assessment – focus both on how current operations can support the build programme and how they will support the infrastructure once built
4. Risk assessment – including implementation risks of the newbuild
- Network failure
- Capacity bottlenecks
- Security risks
- Other risks
5. Capex assessment
- Assessment of different capex items
- Other Capex
