Beschreibung
Our client, a leading South African mobile telecom provider, is looking for a Senior Manager International Infrastructure to provide strategic and operational leadership in the establishment and maintenance of the physical infrastructure required to support international connectivity as well as to support wholesales towards 3rd party customers.
The responsibilities of the role
- Create detailed reports from a technical perspective on connectivity infrastructure wholesales market including industry trends and competitors landscape
- Create detailed analysis of the supplier landscape and handling key suppliers
- Overview and manage global fixed connectivity assets
- Coordinate technological view of domestic fixed infrastructure
- Provide multi-country solutions
- Strategic direction and guidance
Beruflicher Werdegang
- 7+ years in relevant experience in telecommunications
- 3+ years managerial experience preferably within the International Infrastructure Business
- Proven technical knowledge in switching, signaling, transmission and IP areas
- High knowledge and deep understanding of the fixed connectivity industry including but not limited to asset utilization, competitor landscape and technological trends
- Experience in leading cross-functional project teams, with at least three years at a senior management level
- Experience in managing subordinate business units, global procurement partners and provide technical input to customer interactions
- English, French and Arabic is a plus
