George, you should consider your objectives first. Is it churn reduction/retention, cross sell/upsell or new customer? The key issue for customers today is convenience i.e. minimise customer effort, so make it easy to do business and promote that. If targeting customers make sure they have NOT had a bad experience with you or if they have that it has been successfully resolved. You can leverage normal comms e.g. billing but I’d also look at social media as an effective approach.
