I believe it then depends on how passionate you are about what you do. With the right frame of mind it may be possible to start the revolution to change the culture.
Broken education systems. No good role models.
I’m really with you on the broken education systems.
Buy-in at the top (business leaders) for innovation:
- a reluctance to surrender a comfort-zone that they currently occupy,
- fear of “failing” or losing what they already have,
- fear of unknown/uncertain consequences of innovation, or
- lack of finances, resources or expertise on the ground that they trust.
Sometimes it can be reluctance to change within the organisation - people fear change when they don’t understand the underlying drivers/reasons.
