Elasticsearch on free tier cloud for learning purposes

Is feasible to “deploy” an elasticsearch service for learning purposes over some cloud services at a free, or near to no cost, level?
I don’t want to learn to setup, deploy or tunning the elasticsearch infrastructure on cloud, I just want to learn how to use, integrate and evaluate the efforts to learn about its data store and search features.
I know there is a 14 days free trial on cloud provided by the elastic.co company, but probably I will no be ready as a user in 14 days.

The only I know is the 14 day trial. You and your team can probably have few trials one after the other and finish your training in a month or two. The second is the free tier nano server for a year which probably can only handle very less load but might be worth looking in to.

Why not just download it and run it locally using docker or podman - you really don’t have to know much to get it running. It’s worth doing a little reading but you can install docker or podman desktop and pretty much do it all the in the GUI

If you ‘have’ to run it in cloud for your learning, you’re really going to need to know how to deploy anyway and nowadays knowing some basic docker/container stuff is pretty fundamental to running most things.

you can run a container for almost nothing on loads of online services as you’ll only pay when its running and for any persistent storage.
