I am currently on a project and looking for telco/utilities benchmarks on “new ways of working” (tribes, squads,...) and how it impacts the organization and the management. Any ideas/case studies?

Every idea/course of action/plan should positively impact everybody in the organization for it to bear good fruit for the company. You can never go wrong with a moral benchmark.

Hi Filipe The selection of way forward for a client need to start from the top, what do management want to achieve, objectives, what strategies shall be applied taking into consideation all aspects the company are at, market, culture, staff skills, organisation IT platforms etc. My advice is do not apply some methodology to address a challange without knowing the answers on the above.

Hi Filipe

I has the opportunity in the not too distant past to work for a South African Telco implementing Agile for the first time.
If I can provide one piece of advice, it is too forget about “Spotify” or any other popular case studies that have been done.  Each organisation is very different and if you truly want to implement new ways of working it would need to be a bespoke build.

Agile cannot happen in isolation.  So look at the upstream and downstream processes that affect a particular department/team.

Open and honest communication is critical.
