Usage of blockchain for subscribers unique registration database ?

HI Didier, Blockchain can potentially be used but it would bring its own complications, especially if multiple other systems (such as billing, CRM) are dipping in to the subscriber database frequently (as is the case normally). My understanding is that Blockchain is a great mechanism but faces issues w.r.t. scalability and heavy transaction loads. In my humble opinion, using a complex key ( made using multiple fields such as name, dob, sex, area code etc) would be a far simpler and robust solution. Hope this helps. Happy new year !! BR, Dinesh
Blockchain is great but as with most technologies, it is always better to start from the business problem. Is there a problem with how subscriber details are stored at the moment? Could the records be more secured using Blockchain’s immutable properties? Are there other external bodies that might need a consistent state of the subs DB? I think if there are answers to the questions, then it can lead one to see if Blockchain is indeed useful for this.
