Not an easy one… You will find this data in two parts: 1) Some paid reports with a lot of error inside (most data previous from 2017, official data not real data, missing countries…). Other way, 2) a consultancy project to gather, aggregate and validate this data, even more expensive but accurate. I have done that for a few countries in Africa. Feasible… but time consuming. Let me know if you need consultancy help in item 2.

Go to GSMA, they have lots if data, i am not sure you will get exactly what you need but can be close

Well, in Nigeria, market share is at 20% and we have over 80% markets available in data, broadband internet, VPN via SDWAN or MPLS. There is a wide market availability for innovative solution as MTN nigeria made the highest projects compared to MTN South Africa.
Hi. So I see this is from the perspective of MTN Nigeria? Market Share of 20%... in what? I have MTN Nigeria at a much lower % of market share in Managed Network services. I am struggling to understand what you are saying here but it sounds like you are referring to availability / coverage. I am looking for market share. Thanks

There are two good sources but both are not for free, first one is Analysis Mason, they have a great report: “Sub-Saharan Africa Telecoms Market: trends and forecasts 2018-2013”.
There is another good source, Ovum, with detailed information by countries. Only a few Sub-Saharan countries available.
Broker reports available for several countries with general information about telco market.
Also check IDC and Gartner.
It could be a good starting point.
