Description
Our Client, a governmental body in the UAE, is looking for a Power BI expert.Responsibilities:
- Understand business requirements in the BI context and design data models to convert raw data into meaningful insights.
- Develop Power BI advanced dashboards and interactive visuals with drill-down and slice-and-dice functionalities.
- Prioritize data visualizations, focusing on creating aesthetically pleasing dashboards while maximizing data value creation and space optimization.
- Analyze data and present it through meaningful reports to facilitate decision-making processes.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and establish timelines for task completion.
- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts, conducting efficient detailed analysis.
- Execute DAX queries and functions within Power BI.
- Create charts and document data with algorithms, parameters, models, and relations explanations.
- Provide inputs for consideration during the data warehouse development process.
- Utilize SQL queries for rapid data checks when necessary.
- Apply filters and advanced multidimensional graphs/charts for better data comprehension.
Professional background
- BS or MS in computer science or information systems, with related work experience.
- Ability to obtain UAE Government Security clearance.
- 7+ years of experience in advanced data analytics, advanced reporting, and ETL jobs in projects with Data Warehouse implementations.
- 7+ years of experience in Power BI.
- 7+ years of experience working with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack, including Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS.
- Understanding of JavaScript, CSS, SQL, and other JavaScript libraries.
- Experience in developing and documenting Standards and Processes.
- Proficiency in Business proposals and Process Improvement Techniques.
